About Salazar Torres & Associates

After eight years in the insurance industry, gaining experience in sales, customer service, underwriting, and insurance products, our founder decided to take the next step: creating an agency where families and small businesses could receive clear, honest guidance about their insurance.

Insurance should be an ally, not an enemy. Confusion and a lack of understanding often prevent people from recognizing the protection a good policy can provide. Our purpose is to make insurance easier to understand and help every client make informed decisions.

That dream became a reality in June 2026, when Salazar Torres & Associates opened its first agency. Today, we serve the community from two locations, one in Overland Park and another in Kansas City, Kansas, while continuing to work toward reaching more families and businesses.

Driven by family, a passion for soccer, and a strong commitment to the community, our founder moved from the corporate side of insurance to the agency side to make a direct and meaningful difference.
